The REDFOOT After Party Shoes (APS) Review

On visiting our suppliers one day, we came across a little carrousel with the words “Redfoot After Party Shoes” written over the top of it in big letters. We were instantly taken with the little bags hanging from it, with lovely looking designs. We asked to look at them and we were instantly taken with these mystical fold away shoes.

We were really impressed by the design, both from the design of the shoes sole and also the design and aesthetics of the shoes design. The shoes themselves are not just based on design, but use Nassa developed technology for the footbed.

Initially the After Party Shoes were marketed at girls, who’ve been on the dancefloor in high heels all night, come off it with warts the size of melons and then had to walk home in absolute agony. We could definitely see possibilities here, but we got really hooked when we got to know the vast majority of sales goes to people on their feet all day, purely down to the comfort of these little stars. It seems Nassa technology was really paying off!

As conversations developed, we became aware of the multitude of uses these shoes have. Commuters going to work on the tube wearing their APS, then putting on their high heels at the office. Office workers wearing them through the day, beauticians who are on their feet all day wearing them etc etc. It’s really obvious; you take a great contemporary design, match it with the best technology around, package it and market it; you’re going to have a hit.

Perhaps this is why all the celebrities are going mad for them? As the global phenomenon catches steam, you’re going to hear a lot more about these shoes.
